About the Misty Gully Natural Hog Sausage Casings – Size 36
Make quality homemade sausages with Misty Gully Size 36 Natural Hog Sausage Casings.
Made from all-natural hog/pig intestine and produced to meet Australian food standards, these casings are ideal for larger continental-style sausages such as bratwurst.
The home pack contains approximately 20 metres of casing and is suitable for approximately 12kg of sausage meat. Natural hog casings expand and contract during cooking, helping reduce the chance of sausages bursting.

Preparation & storage
Remove the amount of casing required and soak in water for several hours to remove the salt and rehydrate the casing. Run water through the casing before filling.
After use, any remaining casing can be re-salted and returned to the pouch. Keep refrigerated, salted and moist for storage.
